 1.            Page 7. The mathematical expression is –x²+x+6=4. The pronunciation is negative of  X quadrate plus X plus six equals four

2.            Page 9. The mathematical expression is 2S=N(N+1) . The pronunciation is two  S equals N times in braces N plus one

3.            Page 11. The mathematical expression is P²=2Q² . The pronunciation is P quadrate equals two Q quadrate

4.            Page 13. The mathematical expression is sin²q + cos²q = 1. The pronunciation is sine quadrate of theta plus cosine quadrate of theta equals one

5.            Page 14. The mathematical expression is 1+2+3+4+3+2+1 = 4². The pronunciation is one plus two plus three plus four plus three plus two plus one equals four quadrate

6.            Page 34. The mathematical expression is Q₁=KP₁+P₁=P₁(K+1). The pronunciation is Q of one equals K times P of one plus P of one equals P of one in braces K plus one

7.            Page 37. The mathematical expression is (2X+Y)(5X+3Y). The pronunciation is In braces two  X plus Y multiplied by in braces five X plus three Y, equals seven
